The album "Bulgaresque" is a fruit of the collaboration between five virtuoso artists, each bringing their own musical expertise and sensibility: Theodosii Spassov - kaval, Atanas Ourkouzounov - guitar, George Vassilev - guitar, Dimitar Ivanov - 10-string gutiar and Irina-Kalina Goudeva - double bass & voice. Together, they explore a new repertoire for quintet, distinguished by its spontaneous and emotive musical aesthetic. The haunting melodies, complex rhythms and rich cultural traditions of the Balkans, brought together in a symbiosis of three genres: classical, jazz and folk.
